Kristin Collins brings more than 15 years of expertise in continuous business development and communications, maturing from an editor and adjunct professor of English Composition and Business Writing to a Director of Business Development, Capture, and Proposal Management, overseeing the full lifecycle of business opportunities. Kristin is certified and trained in Shipley Business Development, Capture, and Proposal processes and practices and has developed materials and conducted training for Capture and Proposal Management company-wide, including a revamping of the business development lifecycle to include critical milestone reviews and associated capture and proposal documentation.
Kristin has supported proposal and business development efforts for several small business clients, to include HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, ANC, and 8(a) companies. Kristin supported pipeline development and reviews for several business development teams, and refined pipelines based on priorities. As the Lead Editor for the Association of Writers and Writing Programs, the nation’s largest writer’s organization, Kristin edited and solicitated articles; designed and edited ads and ad materials; and proofed brochures and other print projects company wide. As a Quality Manager on the VA OIT VRM program, Kristin created and edited a variety of documents, including all ProPath/PMAS documentation, change requests, presentations to senior leadership, white papers, and status reports.
Ms. Collins has supported dozens of Federal and State Government Departments and Agencies, but her specific expertise is in the Health, IT, and Defense areas. She has experience managing and writing proposals from task orders to major BPAs/IDIQs, and from unsolicited white papers to contract values exceeding $4 Billion.
Natassja Tinley's experience combines technical expertise in writing and editing with proposal coordination and management expertise, facilitating solution development, and helping to coordinate efforts across large, complex, and geographically dispersed teams. Natassja’s strengths include the consistent delivery of concise and compelling proposal narrative; development of differentiated themes and messaging that enables effective Government evaluation; and the offering of keen observations and actionable guidance during color team review cycles. Ms. Meredith is also exceptionally well-versed at developing SME interview questions to facilitate responsiveness and compliance with proposal requirements and is adept at massaging SME response content into language that is easily evaluated and scored for strengths.

Sarah Dillon acts as the initial liaison between resources and clients and ensures smooth communication, onboarding , and invoicing throughout the project. Ms. Dillon's history as a Labor and Delivery nurse specializing in breastfeeding allows her to bring niche expertise to healthcare-focused projects; she often provides critical sanity checks for clinical solution and content development. Sarah maintains continuous education requirements and is a licensed RN in multiple states, including Michigan and Arizona.
Ms. Dillon earned her Bachelor's in Public Relations and Master's in Nursing. In her past position at Mercedes Benz technology, she developed press releases and talking points; coordinated and assisted with marketing activities; coached international employees for speaking engagements; and supported public relations efforts, including general media relations and press release creation and distribution.

Jim Wininger brings over 30 years experience in capture and proposal management of large defense, federal, commercial, and local/state government proposals across domestic and international markets. Over the past 14 years, Jim has helped win over $10.24B for companies across varied landscapes. As a graduate of Defense Acquisition University’s Defense Systems Acquisition Management and numerous other acquisitions, program management, finance, logistics, PPBE, and systems engineering courses, Mr. Wininger brings extensive working knowledge of DoD 5000 acquisition framework, FAR, and DFARS regulations. His background in electromechanical and electronics technology allows CCP to leverage intimate understanding of complex systems when generating discriminators, strengths, and benefits.

Caren Merz holds an MFA in writing from George Mason and has 10+ years of experience in federal contracting, software development, RFX, health, and academia. She has worked as a writer and editor in various settings, including as a proposal writer/manager, technical writer, and business analyst. Caren has intimate understanding of and experience with using and training methodologies such as Agile, SDLC, and CMMI; CMW/Wiki such as Confluence, JIRA, Drupal, and SharePoint; and Enterprise Architecture, including Informatics Metadata Repository and Mega. With this experience in hand, she is able to provide unique insight into many intricacies of the Government contracting landscape and provides strategic value during technically-focused solution sessions and SME interviews. Ms. Merz recently completed her full-stack coding certification at UNC Chapel Hill. She is deeply interested in developer support, process improvement, and knowledge management.

Angie Mazakis hold a PhD in writing and has more than 22 years of experience in writing, editing, and teaching. Ms. Mazakis is trained in proposal writing and management best practices in accordance with industry standards and has acted as writer/editor on various government contracting bids and commercial efforts, including as editor and writer for a test security company. She is adept at documenting policies, processes, and procedures across various technical areas in an accurate and consumable way. Angie's years of teaching have honed her critical eye, and she brings incredible attention to detail to all editing, reviewing, and compliance check efforts.
